Zhilan Mastering is Berlin’s busiest mastering studio complex, helping the German and international music communities to shape the future sound of music. Specialising in mastering music for iTunes, CD, Vinyl and other digital releases in a variety of genres.

This Mastering Suite design was engineered from ground up to achieve the highest standards in room response & translation, providing a highly accurate yet natural listening environment.

This results in a particularly flat room response, extremely short and constant room decay 20Hz-20kHz, providing excellent depth & stereo imaging and a powerful, flat and detailed bass response you can trust – allowing accurate translation of your masters.

In our studios we have analog mastering equipment selected and modified to achieve superior results.

Our online mastering services are fast and affordable. You can send your mixes to us, our engineers give the attention they deserve, ensuring every master sounds as best it possibly can.

The Gyraf Audio Gyratec G22 is a dual channel vari-mu compressor inspired by the earlier G10 but featuring a newly redesigned control interface.

Vari-Mu Tube Compressor

The Gyraf Audio Gyratec XIV is a true tube, stereo equalizer. This equalizer is a very extended version of the classic passive inductor/capacitor type filters, the most famous being the “Pultec” units. It is a truely passive design – based on switching a set of inductors and capacitors in and out of circuit – combined with an E88CC (6DJ8) tube-based makeup gain/output stage. Not a single IC’s or semiconductor in the signal path – this is a real tube unit.

Zhilan Mastering is proud to be one of a handful of facilities approved by Apple to offer the Mastered for iTunes mastering service. With their Mastered for iTunes initiative, Apple has improved the quality of downloads that can be purchased from the iTunes store and has created a new generation of AAC encoding tools. For the first time it’s possible to audition what your music will sound like as a higher resolution MfiT download right in the mastering studio and we can tailor your master accordingly.

Native Instruments’ new open multi-track format The new format allows anyone to create and distribute their own music files capable of splitting a track into four different parts. Primarily aimed at both DJs and live performers wanting to remix on the fly, the Stem file allows you to play and modify individual parts of a track, such as bass, drums, melody, or vocals.
